If there is a tree on your property that you would like to have removed, you first need to call us so that we may write a report for you.
You will then need to go to your municipality's city hall and show them the report as well as pictures of the tree.
Once they have approved the report and given you a removal permit, we can proceed with the work.

It is very important that you make the permit clearly visible from the street by placing it in a prominent window at the front of the house before we proceed with the tree removal.
We will verify the permit's validity and retain a copy to make sure all rules and regulations are being respected.

What is the average cost of tree removal?

There is no average price to remove a tree since every tree and location is unique. The size of the tree as well as the location each play a role in pricing the removal. An arborist needs to see the tree on the actual premises to determine an accurate price.

Trees are removed when they have been planted in a location that is causing damage or when they are diseased and or dead. Removing a tree is generally a last resort.
A tree is removed if it is infected, dead, or causing damage to your property. An arborist will come and evaluate the condition of the tree and recommend removal or may suggest another solution.
If the tree is very close to the house and is causing damage then removing it may be an option. An arborist would be able to assess and recommend the best course of action.
A tree may cause damage to your property if it is too close to your house. The roots of an older tree may start to infiltrate drains or your foundation. A tree that will eventually grow to 25 feet in height should be planted at least 10 feet away from the house, and one that could grow from 25 to 50 feet in height should be planted at least 15 feet away.
It is strongly recommended not to ever cut down a tree yourself. An arborist is a professional who uses the appropriate equipment and techniques to safely remove a tree without causing harm or damage to anyone or anything. Serious injury can result from inexperience.
